Aria Mia Loberti \u201920 has the lead role in Netflix’s limited television series adaptation of Anthony Doerr\u2019s Pulitzer Prize-winning 2014 novel, All the Light We Cannot See<\/em>, which will be released on the streaming service on November 2. The series, directed by Shawn Levy, also stars Mark Ruffalo and Hugh Laurie.

Loberti, a newcomer to acting and longtime advocate for people with disabilities, has been sharing her struggles as a blind person on other stages\u2014such as the Rhode Island State House, the United Nations, and the TEDxº¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ stage\u2014for many years.

Loberti plays Marie-Laure, a blind teenager in Nazi-occupied France during World War II who meets a German soldier, Werner, as they try to survive the war\u2019s devastation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
