Go to Your Dashboard Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
Open Your Page From the left-hand menu, click Pages. Hover over the page where you’d like to add a table, then click Edit.
Add a Table Block There are two ways to add a table to your page:
Option 1: Use the Add Block (+) Button
Click the blue + button in the top left corner of the page editor.
Locate Table under the Text section, or type “table” into the search bar.
Click Table to insert it into your page.
Option 2: Use the Slash Command
Click directly into the page and type a forward slash (/).
A dropdown menu will appear with available blocks.
Type table and select Table from the list.
Set Up Your Table
When prompted, choose the number of columns and rows.
Click Create Table to insert it.
Click inside any cell to begin adding content.
Add or Edit Table Content
Type text directly into each cell.
Use the toolbar above the table to add or remove rows and columns as needed.
Note: It may be difficult to visually distinguish columns without a header row. Adding a header helps users quickly understand the structure and purpose of the table.
Optional Adjustments For the Table Block:
Header Row:
Click anywhere inside the table to select the block.
Open the Settings panel by clicking the gear icon in the top right corner.
Under the Block tab, toggle Header Row on.
The top row will automatically convert to headers, making your table easier to scan and understand.
Footer Row: Add a footer row if your table includes summary or reference information.
Save Your Changes When you’re finished, click the Save button in the top right corner of the screen.
